Another name for renewable energy is reversible energy.
Renewable energy has the potential to be re-created by nature in a short period.
In other words, they are resources that can be easily replaced after consumption. In recent years we have seen a decline in non-renewable energy sources. Now more than ever, attention to renewable energy sources seems essential.
Concerns about environmental change, along with rising oil prices and government support, will lead to the passage of new laws.
These laws encourage the exploitation and commercialization of renewable resources.
Types of renewable energy are:

  • Hydropower
  • Solar Energy
  • Biomass Energy
  • Wind Energy
  • Geothermal Energy
  • Wave Energy, Tidal Energy & Ocean Current Energy
  • Hydrogen Energy

Hydropower

Water energy, like solar energy, is a natural source of energy.
Waterfalls are a source of water energy because of their high altitude and because of the wind.

Solar Energy

Knowledge of solar energy and its use for various purposes dates back to prehistoric times. It is interesting to know that one of the pharaohs of ancient Egypt had built a temple that opened at sunrise and closed at sunset.

Biomass Energy

Waste that is of biological origin and arises from cell proliferation is called biomass. Biomass also includes combustible biowaste.

Wind Energy

The first use of wind energy by the ancient Iranians was to irrigate fields. They used the power of the wind to move cycles to bring water to the surface of their land and fields.

Geothermal Energy

Geothermal energy is the thermal energy present in the Earth’s solid crust. Unlike other renewable energies, geothermal energy is not limited to specific seasons, times and conditions and can be exploited without interruption.

Wave Energy, Tidal Energy & Ocean Current Energy

Wave energy in the sea and oceans is created in the form of waves by the wind on the surface of the water. The energy of the waves is mainly due to the effect of the wind on the sea surface and the wind.

The energy of the waves themselves is a special form of solar energy that is considered as a source of clean and renewable energy. This energy plays an essential role in meeting the growing energy needs of the world.

Hydrogen Energy

Hydrogen energy The technological combination of renewable energy and hydrogen is considered as a storage mechanism for a clean and sustainable energy source.

Today, hydrogen is mainly used in ammonia production, oil refining, and methanol production. Hydrogen is also used in NASA’s space program as fuel for spacecraft and in fuel cells that generate heat, electricity and drinking water for astronauts.
